We are always searching for exciting new music to work with, and listening to your demos is an important part of that process. We do try to listen to everything that is sent to us. But before that, please note:
BE SURE WHAT YOU SEND
We would appreciate you avoiding sending us music without any understanding of our history and our musical interests. If you're not familar with the label, please take the opportunity to check our website (http://www.qt-records.com) to do some research on the kind of artists and projects that we've worked with in the past. Obviously, we're not even faintly interested in any mainstream music.
some more tips which helps all of us:
-please don't send more than 5 tracks, 3 are optimum. try to make a best of selection if you have much more tracks to show.
-please don't forget to write your contact.
-Do not mass share your stuff but properly upload due we filter with "Only show tracks shared to me, to a handful of people and to my Dropbox".
AND THEN ?
As much as we'd like to, we just don't have time to respond to everyone who sends us their music. If you don't hear from us within 3 weeks after you sent the demo, it almost certainly means that - for any number of reasons - our interest wasn't aroused by what you sent. We don't have a standard "rejection" letter.
If our interest is aroused by what we hear, then we'll definitely get in touch. But please understand that we can't take every phone call, or reply to every email. A gentle reminder might encourage us to dig your vinyl or CD out of the pile - but persistent hounding is annoying more than anything else.
SEND US YOUR DEMO
Remember to enter as much information as possible into the ID3 TAGS (including your email address) and demo's music genre. Avoid mass-share we filter "Only show tracks shared to me, to a handful of people and to my Dropbox".
Send us only Wave or 320kb mp3's downloadable mastered files.
Send us your DEMO
