Born in 1976 in Solothurn (CH) DJ Geronimo, visited in early 90’s the legendary "NEW YORK CLUB". At this event he could admire for the first time working on the decks the "BLACK & WHITE BROS." composed at time by Djamin & Mr. Mike. Since this moment the desire to became DJ starts. Electronic music was immediately part of his live.
In 94’ DJ Geronimo’s performing for the first time. In his own organized events. The young local clubbers appreciated his grooves. The clubber mass became huge quickly and as might thought the first official booking requests came in.
Performance in Swiss main clubbing cities where at the weekly frequencies and the notoriety expand overall Swiss ground. Mr. Mike’s manager, discovered the young talented DJ and helped him out to get some clubs performances too. From middle until end of 90’s he regularly performed in his Hometown together with resident DJs as Tremendo , Djamin, Mr. Mike, Mandrax, Richard Grey, Alex Neri, just to name a few. In 1997 received a special booking at "WHITE WOLF", at time a popular events series. DJ Geronimo won the attention of Zurich’s Clubbing Scene too. So he received invitations and bookings to performs in Zurich Number one events as the Energy, and the Street Parade too. In 2001 the first out of town performance in Istanbul. DJ Geronimo played with DJ Tony Carrasco in front of 2500 Clubbers and on Air in a local radio station.
In 2003 he played regularly in Zurich after have performed for his legendary friend Mas Ricardo.
Year after he became resident of a local the party-label. On Board as well DJ Tremendo too. Along with other local heroes, they where touring each weekend in different Locations. QT RECORDS together with owner and founder John Curtis . In John’s studio he was introduced for the first time in musical production. So the year after his first release (Splash) came out on the market. The Remix for John Curtis and his track “Kill me in my bathroom” produced in John’s studio was a huge success for DJ Geronimo who exposed himself as Remixer too on the Global Market with QT RECORDS.DJ Geronimo is still working with John Curtis and his Label and a lot more stuff will get out soon as tours and Events participation with DJ Geronimo’s home label.
